Tang Soo Do is the traditional Martial Art style from Korea. It is much like Tae Kwon Do. Tae Kwon Do, in the last few decades, has become more of a competition sport. This is why we focus our training on Tang Soo Do. Our classes are designed to be more personal, and so you will find no more than 8 students in a class. This small number is to magnify one-on-one training with a black belt. We have found that when there are 15+ students in a class there isn't much time for the black belt to instruct each student. Consequently the student may miss the necessary instruction to advance on time to the next level.
Respect is one of the biggest things we stress. As the student learns to respect themselves and others they begin the path necessary for a successfully life. Respect is also an acronym. R esponsibility E ndurance S trength P erseverance E ncouragement C onfidence T rust. If you like karate you'll love learning traditional Martial Arts with modern teaching techniques.

Bobby Lawrence Karate is an Eclectic Martial Arts school that teaches children how to focus, increase self-esteem, and respect others. We teach adults how to stay in shape and balance their lives. By combining the best of many different martial arts and kickboxing, we are able to teach in such a way that an individual will be able to defend themselves in any situation. We also teach children how to avoid and deal with bullies without becoming a bully themselves.
